Eric Wild, Ph.d, Broker
Eric moved to Gainesville in 1996 to attend the University of Florida. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in 1999 and a Ph.D. in Business Management, both from the Warrington College of Business. While working on his Doctorate, Eric’s area of specialization was Human Resource Management and Organizational Industrial Psychology. His research focused on Trust, Justice, and Teamwork. He has been published in the Journal of Applied Psychology.
While an undergraduate, Eric began working for his landlords, the owners of F&G Land Company, doing maintenance and customer service work for them in 1998. Throughout his college career he continued to work for F&G Land Company, eventually becoming a leasing agent, property manager, sales agent, and ultimately, a partner and owner of the business.
While working for F&G Land Company, Eric was involved in the development, construction, and sales of several of their large scale, high-end construction projects in Gainesville including Windsor Hall dormitory, Saint Charles Condominiums, and most recently, Jackson Square Condominiums. He was personally responsible for all of the sales for Saint Charles Condominiums and the lead listing agent and on-site presence for Jackson Square Condominiums.
During the construction and sales of Jackson Square Condominiums, Eric became a Licensed Real Estate Associate, then a Licensed Real Estate Broker. Immediately upon earning this license, Eric purchased a small but established Real Estate Brokerage, Alligator Realty, in June 2008. He has been the owner/broker since that time.
Eric’s area of specialization is property management and leasing. He has worked as a property manager for 11 years and is responsible for the management and leasing of 104 rental units ranging in price from $450/month to $1900/month and ranging in size from studio apartments to 4 bedroom houses.
Eric has served on the College Park/University Heights Community Redevelopment Agency Advisory Board since 2007. He was chairman of this board from 2009-2011.
